Good evening,
Looking for a little assist on creating a Subgroup¡.
I included below the already published reference on the matter for reference.
Under step 2) "The original group's original address continues to work (is aliased)."
Does this mean my Homepage will continue to display my original group¡¯s address versus showing the?¡°main@¡¡¡± once the subgroup is created??
Thanks in advance for clarifying.

Creating a subgroup - the basics
You can create a subgroup for your main group if you have a Premium or Enterprise plan, as of January 15, 2020. (Basic groups existing on that date are grandfathered in.)
For example:
1) Create avian group (this becomes the subdomain name once a subgroup has been created).
Now you have:
[email protected] - an ordinary group.
2) Within avian group, create birds subgroup.
Now you have:
[email protected] - The original group's original address continues to work (is aliased).
[email protected] - the original group.
[email protected] - the subgroup.
(NOTE: There is a delay for access after you create the first subgroup, due to the creation of the new subdomain, in this case .)
3) Go to the settings for main group and change its name (for example, to chickens). (There might also be a delay in being able to access this name because it will need to be propagated through the DNS system.)
Now you have:
[email protected] - the original group (alias).
[email protected] - the original group.
[email protected] - the subgroup.
