We're exploring groups.io to transfer our 1300 strong subscriber list, and I see that there has been a limit imposed on the number of direct adds before you have to wait for approval. Is there a place with more info on the Direct Add process on the whole? If not, I have a few questions...
How many can I add in one go?
Do members remain if I downgrade the Group to the free plan?
Is it correct for me to assume that directly added members will be able to receive and reply to mail via their email clients without needing a groups.io account?
1. See?/g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/20-Invitations-Limit It is an anti-spam security measure. It is fast. ? 2. Yes, members remain if you downgrade to free. In fact, it is recommended that you get premium for a month if you have a large group of members to add all at once.
3. They must register with Groups.io with the email address. But it is automated when you direct add someone. If they don't have an account with that email address, they will get the necessary email that creates it.
