When you create a custom invite, io adds a header and a footer to the message...? Even though we want to send out a batch invite to all of our old YG members, we want to have to approve their memberships.
If they click on the link "accept the invitation" they automatically become a member of our group, no approval needed, boom they are in.? That's not good for us. (I know we invited but we still want to do some screening)...We would also like say the invite is coming from the Administrators rather than the particular person that is sending the invitation.?
Cindy,
Rather than using the GIO invitation process, would it work to batch send a custom message from a non-GIO group address to the former YG members with a link to the GIO group homepage, with instructions to click on the "Request to Join" button?? Then you could use the GIO Pending Subscription feature to screen applicants before accepting them as members, and the first message moderation feature to verify their adherence to your signature requirements, etc.? You could create a temporary email account that reflected your Administrators status (rather than use a personal account) to use as the sending address for this purpose.? I don't know if these suggestions will suit your purpose, but I hadn't seen anyone offer this idea yet.

Just another GIO user with limited knowledge,
