Gary;it might be worth noting that it is possible to use Groups.io
without having a password; say a subscriber forgot their password they can request a log - in link that will give them access to their groups in perpetuity provided that they revisit their account / one or more of their groups at not more than 30 day intervals. What you seem to be proposing would radically alter the way Groups.io works for at least a section of the overall community and there is no means of knowing (a) how Mark would react to that, and (b) how any of your subscribers who may already be Groups.io Account holders would feel about it. It would also (c) put your members at least partially outside the assistance that is available from both "Support" at Groups.io and here on the GMF.
