OK; I'll admit that something not greatly different occurs on the group I moderate and co - own; sometimes a message will be sent in the owner's "name" and it will have all three names at the bottom, but I would
never sign a message pretending to be someone else, and I would strongly object if anyone used
my name under a message that
they had sent.
Furthermore if I was on the receiving end of a message sent by person A but
appearing to be from person B I would not be happy if I discovered the deception, however innocent the underlying reason for it might be.
