It would be nice to have the option (and if enacted), could be anonymous for usage.? And users would of course have to accept the privacy policy messages are being tracked for open rates.

IIRC one of Groups.io's selling points (along with "no advertising") was (is?) "no tracking", although I have to admit I cannot find anywhere at the moment that specfically says either.

On that basis I'm not sure how Mark would react to someone operating tracking on a specific group or groups.
