Please let us know what you plan to do using the correct terminology and we will help you to get there. We will need you to confirm what your main group is currently called and whether you have set up any subgroups yet.
Eric -- For what it's worth, here is what I would do if I were you.
- Leave your existing Members group as the primary group, and leave all the content that you've already transferred there alone.
- Rename NAIAandNAIATrustMembers to NAIAandNAIATrust, using the instructions found at?/g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/Renaming-a-Group
- Create a subgroup and call it Board. Its home page URL will be https://NAIAandNAIATrust.groups.io/g/Board. Emails can be sent to that group using Board(at)NAIAandNAIATrust.groups.io
- Having created this subgroup, your primary group is now called main. It should show up as https://NAIAandNAIATrust.groups.io/g/main.
- Rename your primary group from "main" to "Members." Its home page URL will now be https://NAIAandNAIATrust.groups.io/g/Members. Emails can be sent to that group using Members(at)NAIAandNAIATrust.groups.io
- Transfer your other Yahoo Group into NAIAandNAIATrust.groups.io/g/Board
The only downside to doing it this way is that your board members will be automatically subscribed to the Members group when you do the second transfer (step #6 above). But as Shal said earlier, you can set their subscriptions to "No Email" in the main group if they don't want to be bothered with member chit-chat.
Hope this helps,
Bruce
