Re: To spend more $$$ we need more data on rate of que processing?

I had to move two groups and one has moved even though it took about 10 days. Done perfectly.
The second one is in queue and moving forward slowly.
The slow speed is obviously due to expedited move requests.
We have to understand that the additional fees is to provide expedited service and many who chose are quite happy.
Yahoo group email distribution is still working. December 14 is the drop dead date for losing archived messages, photos and other files.
Mark has promised to get all requests received by Dec 1 to accomplish the transfer.
And GIO is working hard to address the crunch.
Let us have some patience.

I do understand the anxiety and frustration associated with having to just sit and wait, while feeling powerless to bring anything to a satisfactory conclusion.?

At the same time, one of the things I hated about my last job is whenever there was a crisis, our management would ask for daily status reports, formatted a certain way, etc. and we had to come to a meeting at the end of the day equipped with a PowerPoint presentation. This seriously obstructed progress in getting the actual work done, and I'd hope does not adopt the same business model.

This too will pass, although sometimes things pass like a kidney stone. I encourage more people who complete this Easy[?] Group Transfer process to continue to come here and report their satisfaction with how things went.?
