The result is a bit ugly though, as the messages come through with the Another ugliness is in the Pending page, where the Yahoo Group messages all list a long -sentto address as the sender of the message. But that's seen only be me (the approving mod) so not a big deal. One defect is that owing to how Yahoo Groups mungs the from address, putting the posting member's email address in the clear in the Display Name part of the From field, the posting member's full email address displays at the top of each message. This may be a fatal flaw for the experiment. BTW I'm doing this experiment as a possible way to continue publicly archiving messages in that Yahoo Group, which intends to stay at Yahoo even after the December 14th cutoff. No members there but me. Which is a different motive than covering posts in the interim between initiating a transfer and its completion. But it should work all the same.
