If you're unable to invite new subscribers to your Yahoo Group, then I suspect you can't promote anyone to Moderator, either...both of which are necessary for the agent to gain full access to your group's data.
But if you have a lot of time on your hands, it's possible to migrate everything but the message archive yourself, using freely available tools. Please see the FAQ at /g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/FAQ-on-Moving-from-Yahoo-Groups, starting at #10. Meanwhile, Mark is offering refunds to those who paid for Premium but are unable to complete the process. See details.
Bruce: Thanks for your advice. The FAQ led me to PG Offline, which seems like a decent option.
Since it turns out we won't be able to use the Groups.io Transfer Agent to migrate from our Yahoo group, I can't see any benefit from having the one-year Premium level. However, a one-month Premium level would be extremely useful to directly add members. I'm trying to see if we change to just a one-month Premium level, and receive a $200 refund.
