Make sure you have sent an invite to your group for the user?[email protected]
. We will send you an email once we've received and accepted an invite. If this message hasn't been updated within 6 hours of you sending your invite, please send another one. This notice will be updated when we have received your invite."?
Diane -- This suggests that your invitation to
[email protected] did NOT go through. Return to the Yahoo invitation page, do a hard refresh (ctrl-F5), then try to send your invite again.?
Yahoo won¡¯t let me send the invite again, at least not now.
I don't understand this. Did you get the dreaded "an error occurred loading the content?" More information needed.
How long should it take for the invite to be accepted? ?I¡¯m sure they are backed up, so maybe this is normal?
Accepting the invite can take 2-3 days, but receiving it should be almost instantaneous (see?).
According to your transfer status, there is no record of your invite being sent at all. So you need to try again until the transfer status says "We have received your invite and will accept it soon..." (Note: it might help to refresh that page, too).
Hi Bruce,
Yes, it did - thanks! I resent the invite after I sent this message and now it says that it¡¯s been received. But I did get that message last week too. It took quite awhile to get past the Yahoo error message last night.
Hopefully you can see it now. I have no idea when my status changed from ¡°we received¡± to ¡°make sure to send¡±. When I did it a week ago, I expected to see it as a group member quickly and did not, so I sent it again, and it was then that I saw ¡°no need to resend¡± so I quietly apologized and sat on my hands.?
I should get an email saying it¡¯s been accepted?
Thanks again for your help.
Diane
