My point had to do with neither of those: I've never used Quote Whole Post (don't really like it), and selecting text before hitting reply works only for the first block-quote. I'm talking about the block-quote feature (depicted by the quotation marks in the toolbar, formerly indicated in the old editor by the term "block quote"). I prefer that feature and use it constantly. It consistently works (as it's working now) except for the one case of your previous post, which I suspected (and still suspect) was due to an interaction with bullet lists.?
