Hello again Shal (& All),

Sorry for any bother, but what does 'fig-leaf' in the above-quoted text
mean. It is obvioulsy being used here as a verb. I am asking because
this is the first time I have ever necountered the term used this way.

I did more than a few Google searches but still could not find a keyword
combination which brought up a relevant definition as would apply to an
email addresses, etc., as presented in the above-quoted text.
