p.s. Do it fast, before you get any members. Also, Mark is on vacation (or his version of one) so his response might be delayed.

I believe you can't re-use the same group name if you delete your group.
However, there is a message from Shal saying that you could ask Mark to free up the name. (I used the new search and it found it! Hurrah!)
