I have always been able to click on the name in the From: address of each message in an html digest to send a private reply (this despite the fact that the group is set to "reply to group").?A subscriber recently approached me with evidence that this particular link is being stripped from his own emails, although the footer links are intact. He has no way to send private replies to anyone, except to abandon digest mode and switch to individual emails.
This person is using Thunderbird, but it's possible that an intermediate mail server is doing it. He is sending from a .edu domain.
Can any TBird power users out there provide a setting or other remedy? I know I can change the group settings to put the desired option in the footer, but I'd prefer to address the problem at the source.?
