I'm kind of naive in this area. ?Wouldn't know what email TO get!
Wouldn't know what's Verizon or ATT or Yahoo hosted.
And so laborious to change since I've had this one for well over 30 years.
It's full of folders and stars and saved photos and such.
Any recommendations?
I hear Google is sneaky.

If you are using Yahoo as your primary email, I urge you to get another one but make sure it's not Verizon or any of the ATT company's services because they are all hosted at Yahoo. The majority of my membership that has the same issue is on one of the above mentioned services.
