Oops! A major omission from my earlier reply. (Sorry!)
The sort order is
viewer - selectable, which can confuse things.
When any album is selected there is an innocuous looking tab in grey (UK spelling!) at the right hand side above the album title banner.
I won't list the options here because you can find them for yourself easily enough. The main point is that what I described in my earlier reply
only works if the selection is
Sort by Name ^.?
Note that the sort order is determined by individual members viewing the album; owners and moderators cannot
enforce any particular sort order. Some groups
want sorting by upload date; "my" group didn't, and I suspect you don't either!
