Thank you - that worked! I have noted the procedure for when I have to do it again. Some email addresses were "not subscribed" and spme were "other error" whatever that means!

In Excel, highlight the column containing the email addresses, hit CTRL-C to copy it onto your clipboard, then paste that into Notepad. Edit out the column header information and save as plain text. This should give you what you want.
