Nope .. doesn't require anything else. The mail all arrives and folks get mine. The gmail addy did have to be an addon though with my eastlink account as the main sign in.
I've explained to a few of the ladies in my group who were having problems and it worked for them too.

email under miz.elly@ but my "paid for" addy is ellen@ Once I added
that and made it my main address, I had no more issues.
Posting from one address, while receiving at another is one work-around;
one can do that with an Email Alias address in your account (or a second
account and subscription).
With Gmail as your provider you might not even need a second email
address, just use a "dotted" form for one of them (shals.2nd versus
shals2nd, for example).
I'm not sure though that I'd consider that any less a PITA than putting
up with the From rewriting. Though I suppose once you've got it set it
up right it may not require further effort.
