When does it show the error? Immediately after you paste, or not until after you Send / Save Event? For messages try using the Add Pictures button instead of copy/paste. Are the images you're trying to paste particularly large, or in an unusual image format? If so, try using a photo editing program to scale them down and/or convert them to a standard format like jpg or png. If you can narrow down the circumstances that causes the error it may be worth reporting to support.
