I am a moderator on a Yahoo group which is converting to groups.io, as likely many of you are or have been.
Our group is a cooperative with annual membership.? We are doing the changeover at renewal so our renewing members will be invited to join our groups.io group.
At the same time, we have a grace period for our membership which, in effect, should keep anyone who has NOT renewed but is still active in the Yahoo group informed of group messages.
Is there any way to configure both groups to forward emails to the other group?? I tried the straightforward and simple method of inviting the yahoo group account (via its email address) to join the groups.io group, but it is deemed an invalid email address.? Does anyone have a suggestion on how to accomplish this??
It's not a long term thing, but we really need to serve all of our members to the best of our ability until the end of September.
