This discussion seemed closest to what's troubling me at the moment.
I am owner on two main groups; I'll call them A and B.? I want to stop participating in A and gave it another Owner over a year ago.?
When I ask to Unsubscribe, after it asks me to Confirm, I get back a message saying ... "500 Because you are the only owner of this group, you cannot leave it."
I'm NOT the only owner of Main-A but there are two subgroups I had created (neither of which flew) where I show as sole owner.? So, I'm thinking that I can't leave Main without cleaning up those two subgroups -- deleting them seems the cleanest.? There's Help on Deleting Groups.? Can SubGroups be deleted the same way, without impacting the Main group?? I want to be sure I'd be leaving Main-A intact and functioning under its other Owner and assume this would have no impact on Main-B where I am the sole Owner.
