I've mostly made concert flutes, but I've also made a couple of alto flutes, and one piccolo. ??? ??? I'm semi-retired.? I can't really do much of the main work because of problems with my back and some other things, but I still make pads for the square-holed flutes, since nobody else makes those. ??? ??? Hi Leonard. What types of flutes do you make? I have a couple of the concert flutes, a Jupiter flute, and my main flute, which is an MIO. They neat. I also have an ocarina, but it's a very oddly shaped one. It looks something like a sweet potato, and has a fipple mouthpiece as well. I also play the recorder. I have been playing the flute for 22 years do you still make flutes, or did you have to retire? I also have a set of panpipes. I don't play the ocarina or the panpipes as much as my flutes and my recorders. It's very interesting how many members of the Flute family they're actually are. There are so many members of the Flute family, that I can't even begin to count them all, let alone pronounce them. Some of them are unpronounceable.? |
