Question:

Why Dr. Budwig recommends Saukraut Juice to start the day? Would someone know why this is a good thing to do before eating the musli?

Thanks you,

Diane

Diane, fermented foods are supposed to be important in bringing about a
state of alkalinity in the body. I have read about that elsewhere but don't
know how it manifests. Interesting theory that I've seen on lots of
websites.

Where is everyone getting the sauerkraut juice? from purchased sauerkraut? Do you also eat it? I/ve tried to make my own sauerkraut a few times to avoid consuming the high amt of salt in the commercial products but I don't trust it (my own). I'm afraid to eat it or drink the juice. I don't know if it is safe or maybe unsafe. What are some of your experiences with this, anyone?

Catherine,

Thank you. I remember feeling much better than I do now and I had this juice every morning. I don't remember why I stop and from now on, it is going to be every morning again. It does not taste good, but I was used to is then and I will get used to it again.

I am always to acidic mostly since I am born, but it gets very bad and that was helping me to live without using stomach medication. As cancer runs in my family, I want to put all my chances on my sides from now on. I don't have it for now, and hopefully if I am careful I will not have it ever. Hopefully one day, I will be able to eat normally again as in tomatoes and some spices as in black pepper.

Diane

Myrna,

I just buy it in a health food store, it is organic and already made. I don't do it either, I don't believe I would trust myself as this is so different from what I am used too. In those store, you can buy it and eat it too, it is just that the last time I tried some of it, I did not like it at all. It does not matter how much quality or how good for you it is if you cannot eat it because you the taste is awful. The only saukraut that I was able to eat is cooked just a bit, but cooked.
