Linseed in warm tea?
Pamela
I'm starting to wonder if my brother could possibly have pneumonia.
He's been having a lot of chills, shivering, being confused, etc. every now and then. Last night, he was breathing rapidly and his pulse was racing. He is a better today, he coughed up a little blood in the morning, and he still feels dizzy. I was searching for some home remedies - and I found a tea he could drink to help remove phlegm from his bronchial tubes. It says to put in a tablespoon of linseed - is this safe to do so with warm tea? |

Effectiveness of Budwig diet
karlschmierer
Dear Wilhelm,
Thank you for your advice regarding using youghurt or quark. I have a really important question I would like to put to you. Is the Budwig diet truly an effective means of overcoming cancer? My wife has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will not submit to surgery, chemo or radiation. Therefore we need to be certain that we taking the rights steps in bringing about an effective cure for her. Thank you, Karl Schmierer |
lymph massage
Kathryn Gold
Hello,
A while back I had a couple of lymph massages. A lymph massage is VERY different from a regular massage. It is done EXTREMELY lightly. There is no deep massaging of the muscles. Only a very light touching and kind of 'rolling' of the fingers to move the lymph. Apparently the lymph nodes are very close to the surface of the skin. If one is used to a swedish massage this is quite disappointing, as it is SO unlike what one is used to. I do believe that it is good, but I also believe that one can achieve the same effect with the dry-brushing or rebounding or even a 'chi-machine' (leg swing). K. Re: Full Body CT Scans & Radiation dose
I did a search in German hoping to find some thorough coverage of the
question, so far i found very little such as the below note by the German Society for Nuclear Medicine. It states among other things: "Median radiation exposure from a nuclear medical examination corresponds to what a person absorbs from ambient radiation in a year. That means that many examinations involve the patient with approximately the same radiation dose as that received from a lung x-ray. Please ask your physician about the exact radiation dose involved in the method used." I also found repeated mention of the fact that radiation dose depends on the specific protocol used. lymph drainage
bryzamini
Hi to All
First I would like to express my gratitude to you all once again. Your depth of research and experiences are so impressive and helpful. After a recent visit to the docs, I was dragging my tail once again. Came home and "listened" to you again and was able to pick myself up AND RE-MEMBER, they do not know all (often, very little). Our bodies or our total beingness is sooooo much more than we or the docs are fully aware. When we go to the docs we can get trapped into the "Body only" belief system and forget that we are also born of energy and spirit/soul. So, thanks so very much in helping me remember who I am and that one visit does not make for the whole truth. Whew! That being said, here is a wee bit more about lymph drainage. If you are too weak or tired, you can also do a simple exercise on your bead. If you can lie upon your stomach with knees bent...Kick your legs up and down just like we did as children. This can be as vigorous or gentle as you can do. Your legs (by walking) are designed to move the lymph throughout the body. "lymphatic drainage techniques" are taught as a specialty after you get your certified massage training, but most onc centers in hospitals have such specialists that will train you how to keep the lymph moving - especially in the arms (for those with breast &/or node removal). I am an Ortho-Bionomist and I was taught that massage DOES spread active cancer cells (actually, I was also taught that in my preliminary massage training), but that may reflect the fact that massage has now become synonomous with "deep tissue massage" which goes against the principles of Ortho-Bionomy(OB). OB is a profoundly healing discipline based on the premise of NON-Force. ***ANNA: we are taught to "listen to the body' and "follow" that guidance! On-going research in Chicago (Hospital setting) has demonstrated that OB enhances healing of cancer because we are able to assist the body to detox more gently whereas massage is too traumatic for a body processing through cancer. OB is available in France, England, Canada, Australia, Virgin Islands, USA and probably much more - I have not checked lately. Elliot - right on! about the rebounder - even walking on it is very helpful. Thanks for all your info about this wonderful tool. Very valuable. Best wishes to all, lotte |

Broccoli Sprouts! They are GOOD for you and DELICIOUS!
breathedeepnow
I found some broccoli sprouts at my local supermarket the other day. I
had read that they have very significant anti-cancer properties, so decided to try them. I found them delicous---they taste much better to me than do alfalfa sprouts. They are both sweet and spicy---good all by themselves or in a salad. I expect it is no problem to produce broccoli sprouts at home using a jar or a sprouting kit. But it did say on the box of sprouts that these particular sprouts are from a specific type of broccoli that guarantees it contains a significant amount of the main anti-cancer ingredient researchers have identified in broccoli sprouts. |

Cheryl, I have also read that it is not a good idea to press or to
massage a tumor. It makes sense to me that one could cause cancer cells to spread by doing that. I think massaging all parts of the body except the actual tumor or tumor masses is supposed to be okay, though. Elliot |
Re: How do you determine your progress? - J. Castron wrote:

Joe, we can take some comfort in the fact that the body is a thoroughly
amazing machine, capable of repairing the damage done by x-rays to a significant degree. But when a doctor who has no idea how much radiation is being delivered in one CT scan overdoes it, the body's repair system can become overwhelmed. That's the problem. And again, there ought to be no disagreement between us as to how much radiation is contained in a full body CT scan. That information ought to be immediately available on the internet. The fact that it is not dismays me. I have a call in to a radiologist at a local hospital, and I think this week I may call a company or two that MAKES CT scanners and question them. I might even telephone the FDA. I'm not stressing myself over this. I just want to get to the bottom of what appears to be a very strange situation---that being that no one appears to know for sure how much radiation a CT Scan delivers. |
Re: Progress---Cheryl, when you speak of lymph cleansing/circulating, please
breathedeepnow
Glad you agree, Cheryl. Albert Carter, author of "The Miracles of
Rebounding," has said that gentle bouncing on a rebounder temporarily increases significantly the number of T-Cells, macrophages, etc circulating in the lymph system. It does indeed appear to be an excellent way of "exercising" the lymphatic system. |
Re: Full Body CT Scans & Radiation---Benefits Outweigh Risks?
breathedeepnow
Hi, Maria.
Thanks for posting that. Yes, that is one of the sites I also found when I researched CT scans to see how much radiation there was in a full body CT Scan. What is outrageous to my mind is that in order for the FDA to approve CT scanning for use on the public, the company that invented the device would have HAD to tell the FDA how much radiation the device delivered. There HAD to have been exact figures. WHERE did those figures disappear to? WHY do so few people in the medical establishment know them? As for this: "The risk-benefit equation changes dramatically for adults who are referred for CT scans for medical diagnosis," Brenner said. "Diagnostic benefits far outweigh the risks." The benefits do NOT outweigh the risks, in my opinion, if an oncologist is giving his clients CT scans once every other month, or even once every month. In fact, I would love to see a law suit brought against an oncologist and/or a radiologist by one or more of their clients so as to get the truth out to the public about how dangerously much radiation is in a CT scan. For anyone reading this who does not understand the danger of receiving high doses of radiation, it is that high doses of radiation can do so much damage to the body's DNA that the body cannot repair it fast enough, or repair enough of it, so that the damage eventually causes cancer. There are other, less appalling effects from high doses of radiation. Xerostomia, or dry mouth, caused by damage to the salivary glands by the radiation, is one such effect. Xerostomia can lead to excessive dental caries and ultimately to tooth loss. Another effect is a general weakening of the immune system. |
Re: CODEX

Steve, I saw a doctor in Chicago who is very up on things, and who
feels confident CODEX ultimately will not fly. There was a most interesting paper sent to the British parliament that lambasted the drug industry, and that appears to have defeated some other kind of movement in Great Britain similar to CODEX. I believe that in the end, CODEX will crash and burn. |
