Update, LDH down

Eric G. Wruck

Hi guys:

Had more bloodwork done & for the first time since my lymphoma relapse
last fall, my LDH is in the normal range. It fell from 207 (three
weeks ago) to 179. According to the Ohio State lab, normal is
100-190. Needless to say, I am thrilled! I was actually kind of
worried since I had been on vacation & strayed a little. I did have
my focc twice a day & some vegetable juice daily (but less than at
home). However, I confess that I did sample a couple scones that the
English proprietress of the B&B made for afternoon tea (they were
superb but after that I boycotted the teas). On the plus side, I got
a lot of sun at the beach & got to bed earlier than usual.

In September I'll repeat the CT scan & get a more definitive idea of
what my lymphoma is doing. For now, I am optimistic. I continue to
feel great. I'm so glad I found this group.

All the best,

Eric

Ursula, I did not see bubbles in my kraut.
Jan: the bubbles are very small if you look closely on the scum you
will see them. Here is the way I do my kraut:

-1 large cabbage cut in chunks
-put cabbage in the mixer with water, give a twirl to shred cabbage
-repeat process until you finish with the cabbage
-put this mixture in a large glass jar
-shred half of a peeled pineapple in the mixer and add to the jar
-add water to fill jar to the top
-add 2 tbls. of sea salt and stir.

I have used a cloth covering or a lid. It does not seem to make a difference in the brewing. I stir the mixture twice a day every day.
I taste it to taste the sourness. I have found out that it is ready to drink on the 6th to 7th day. The longer you keep it out, the more sour it gets. this make a large batch of juice which is fine for me because my husband and I drink it every day. I hope this help. Ursula

Brain tumor re-growth

Meredith W.

My step-dad's brain tumor has grown back according to the MRI, we have
been at the BP for a little over 2 mos. This is so discouraging. They said he has about 3+ mos to live and they wont be good ones with no radiation or chemo. Ya know the brain is very different from other organs and in many ways not as forgiving as it is teh central computer for the whole body. When their is regrowth or swelling it can kill. So we are trying to figure out whats best. We know radiation only delays and seals the deal in most cases, so we want to keep going with BP but there is so little time for it to work. He had a full resection - has anyone here started BP with a full resection of their tumor - had re-growth and then tumor shrinkage? Its one thing to see swelling but this is growth where their seemed to be nothing before?
Any thoughts?

Thanks! Meredith

Re: Update, LDH down

Eric, that is just brilliant. It also shows how the body is a little
forgiving..and how when we stray off, it's not quite as enjoyable as we remember
(well that's what I keep telling myself).

Re: ROOTS CANALS

I have read the book "Root Canal Coverup" and it is quite eye-opening. There was a dentist in the early 1900's named Westin Price who did considerable research on infected teeth and found that all root canaled teeth still have infection in them. And this has a profound effect on health.

The dentist I use is what is referred to as a "biological dentist". He does not believe in root canals and will not do them. He has also told me he can diagnose someone by looking at where they have root canals in their mouth. When I was faced with an infected tooth, I chose to have the tooth pulled instead of doing a root canal. I think the evidence is pretty convincing and don't want to run the risk.

Re: Finding Cottage Cheese...special order at store - thanks to Rachael !

Hi Rachael,
Based on your information, we made arrangements at one of our local
store (called "Choices-Natural Market") and finally got "Nancy's" low
fat organic cottage cheese. No clue why it took so long, but now, we
enjoy this new (to us) product.
It costs us $3.95 (without tax) for a 16oz container, same as the
other cheeses; but we have to order 6 containers at time, meaning the
whole box as delivered. However, the owner of the store is very
pleased with the cheese and she said she wants to order more, to be
available in store all the time; in that case, of course we won't
need to special order.
Thank you for information,
Blessing,
Georgeta

Nancy's was also on sale at Wild Oats this week for 2.79. Sounds like Nancy's themselves may have initiated the sale price or maybe both Wild Oats and Whole Foods use a distributor that was running a special.

We buy the ORGANIC Nancy's Cottage Cheese 1% Milkfat from our local Whole Foods. This is in the DEEP BLUE container. Initially, the cost was around $3.79. Just this week I noticed that the price has been ringing up $2.79. I speculate that the price drop is either temporary or they reduced the price because it sells very well. I know that I buy 6-7 containers at a time and that barely lasts a week so we are there quite often to load up.

Another check up visit and tests - "No trace of cancer" - Multiple Myeloma

Hi Everyone,
Last week we've been again at Mayo for another 3-month visit for my
husband Cony with Multiple Myeloma. MM, being such a devastating
disease, needs constant monitoring. After reviewing the blood test
results and the 24-hour urine test result, doctor told us: no trace of
cancer. This was the first time we heard these words. You can imagine
the joy and the hope we felt.
Although Cony's immune system is still somehow weak because of the
disease itself and because of the stem cell transplant he had in Oct,
2005, he gets better and better every day. Next doctor visit...December
this year. This is a great progress for us, since we used to go to Mayo
every month for monitoring and Cony was hospitalized and needed blood
transfusions several times in 2005 and beginning of 2006, before he
started the Budwig protocol. Now, without any transfusion, medication
or supplements, his hemoglobin is 14.3, very normal for anyone, not to
mention someone with a blood cancer. By the way, during the transplant,
we were told that, IF everything will be okay with him (Cony), he will
be able to sustain a hemoglobin around 10-11 without transfusion. That
was the transplant doctor's best expectation, and ours at that time not
knowing any better.
To all members reading my messages, here is some advice from Cony and
I:
- have faith and do the protocol entirely
- try to give up cancer/pain medications; the faster the better
- watch your environment and make changes as needed to get rid of
chemicals, to filter your water etc.
- stay away from chemo and radiation. The more you do or did in past,
the harder will be to recover because the cells were so much damaged
from those treatments. Chemo and radiation also produce anemia and
weakens the immune system.
- be patient. You need to be patient and let the protocol work on you.

The time to recover differs from person to person. It's based on age
(because ability of the body to recover), will power, fear and worry
experienced, how well and complete the protocol is implemented, type of
cancer, stage of cancer, type of treatments had in past and also how
heavy a person was treated with conventional medicine. Moral support
and the help received (if any) are also to be considered. All these
factors play a role in how fast someone recovers. But with patience and
perseverance, recovery will come.

Our advice is coming from direct experience. Cony did steroids
treatment, stem cell transplant treatment, and now Budwig treatment.
Budwig protocol as treatment can't even be compared with the pain, the
agony, sickness from treatment itself, risks involved etc..etc... of
conventional treatments.

People doing chemo while doing the protocol, because of fear, have a
harder time to recover and sometimes might not even be able to recover.
In Cony's case, to do chemo while on protocol was not even an option
since he was told that he can't take more chemo after transplant. What
appeared to be a disaster at first, it turned out of being a blessing
for him, because we did not think at "options" anymore, or worried that
we might not do the right treatment. For Cony there were no options at
that time, and THAT FACT made it easy for us. He was declared terminal
by the doctors so BP was the ONLY option for him. That gave him peace
of mind and courage to do it and not think of anything else.

To anyone having a hard time giving up chemo: look at cases of people
who continued to do chemo and nothing else as treatment. Look at end
result. Remember all famous and rich people ill with cancer, who had
the money to afford the best treatments in the world. They did chemo
believing they do the best, and they died. So, if you realize the
progression when doing chemo, if you can mentally fast-forward yourself
in time... at the end of chemo treatments, when your body can't take it
anymore and the organs start failing, it will become easier to just
give it up NOW and rely in something able to heal and recover health.
And Cony, my husband, along with many others from this group doing just
that, is the proof of that. The protocol is WORKING !!!!
If it worked for Myeloma, one of the deadliest cancer, on someone
declared terminal after having a stem cell transplant, it will work for
you too. Just give it a chance !!

Much health and God bless you all!
Georgeta and Cony

Hi Suzy,
guess JB wanted to offer a kind of variety to the users plus the fact
that some of her recipes date from a time where circumstances may have
been difficult to always get fresh food. I'm sure that the original,
unsweetened condensed milk is by far not as valuable than fresh milk
but that it does no harm when only used in small amounts from time to

How long can I expect the swelling to last? If actual breast

Hello Bronwynn,
over many months, after reading through the FlaxSeedOil2 messages,
I
realized that there was a whole range of times that it took people
to
see results from the Budwig protocol. Some saw results in weeks;
for a few, it took close to a year. I believe that if you keep up
with the ENTIRE Budwig protocol (fo/cc, juicing, raw veggies, nuts,
whole grains, lots of rest, reduced stress, daily sunbaths, daily
massages with flax seed oil or Eldi oils, stay away from processed
foods and try to minimize exposure to
chemicals/pesticides/herbicides) your tumors will eventually shrink.

Following are my own experiences with breast cancer. I have (maybe
even had?) breast cancer. I started doing parts of the Budwig
protocol about Nov. 2006 (fo/cc) but realized I could not keep on
working and do the full protocol (mostly because of the commuting
time and the stress involved with it) ... so at the beginning of
Feb.
2007 I took a 12 week leave of absence from work to do the full
protocol including sunbaths, lots of rest, sauerkraut juice every
morning (started making my own sauerkraut), other juicing later in
the day, lots of organic, raw foods, whole steamed grains, fo/cc 2-
3
times a day, massage with flax seed oil, etc.

An interesting side note: I was urged by a lady in our Human
Resources department at work, to try to get on their private
disability insurance. I didn't see what my doctor wrote on the
form,
but it was approved through October 2007. Since I still don't have
anywhere near my usual energy level, I am extremely grateful that I
have the time to continue the entire protocol. Despite all the
helpful FlaxSeedOil2 messages, I personally could not have
continued
to work and do the entire Budwig protocol.

After about 4 months on total Budwig, the tumor in my breast
continued to grow; on the whole upper part of the breast until it
was
about the size of the palm of my hand plus fingers and about 1/2 to
2/3 as thick; it went about 3/4 of the was around my breast and
the
nipple was inverted. From being able to feel one enlarged lymph
node, I was able to feel a string of enlarged lymph nodes running
up
towards the shoulder.

Even though I had read that some people's tumors kept growing for
almost a year before turning around, I was uneasy about waiting
that
long.

My brother had given me a book titled "Outsmart your Caner
Alternative Non-Toxic Treatments That Work" by Tanya Harter
Pierce;
it is the best book I have read so far and it has a whole chapter
on
the Budwig protocol. It also has a chapter on cesium chloride
therapy
which appeared to work in a similar method to Budwig to raise the
pH
of the cells - but more quickly. So about the beginning of May
2007,
I added the cesium chloride therapy along with keeping on doing the
Budwig protocol. After several weeks, I could see that the tumor
was
no longer growing. After several more weeks, I could feel that the
tumor and lymph nodes were shrinking.

I spoke with a fellow in Canada who has experience working with
cancer patients doing cesium chloride therapy. After 6 weeks, he
thought I had taken enough and could stop. (A different
information
source recommended taking it for a full 12 weeks.) Anyway, I
stopped
and within several weeks, a small part of the tumor started growing
(but not the whole thing) so I assume it had almost knocked out
most
of the cancer, but not quite all.

So I resumed taking cesium chloride. I also purchased a frequency
generator and started using it on the frequencies recommended for
cancer, parasites, liver and lymph problems. After several weeks,
the tumor started shrinking again and becoming less hard. As the
tumor receded up past the nipple, it started popping back out
again.
Also, there are several lymph nodes I can not feel anymore and the
ones I can feel are shrinking and becoming softer.

Since I am close to the 12 week limit, I am stopping the cesium
chloride therapy but continuing with Budwig to keep the body in the
best possible condition to discourage any cancer regrowth.

So to summarize, it appears that for a smaller percentage of people
on Budwig, it can take a LONG time for the Budwig protocol to start
shrinking tumors. The Budwig protocol appears to work more gently
and naturally than many other protocols, but takes a longer time to
produce tumor shrinkage. It is my belief, from my experience, that
the cesium chloride therapy will work more quickly than Budwig
alone
because it alkalizes the cells to a higher pH level. However, the
cesium chloride therapy has more side effects than with Budwig
including nausea, digestive upset, fatigue, weakness, and possible
heart arrythmias if potassium levels are not monitored.

Many blessings,
Cheryl, near Frederick, MD

Both containers have the same ingredients, but the blue container lists
every item as organic. I forgot to look the white container over for
the word 'organic'. Maybe someone who has it in your refrigerator can
check.

Perhaps the price difference between the white container of Nancy's

whether the ingredients are organic or not.
