CORRECTION/Re: Indelicate subject - Red Beets and deficient hydrochloric stomach acid

CORRECTION

The red coloring in stool after ingesting 2 cans of
red beets supposedly indicated insufficiency of
hydrochloric acid which in turn caused or enhanced
cancer.

Sorry - if I misled.

I once read about a purported test for cancer
causing stomach deficiency of hydorchloric acid.
It involved eating canned red beets - juice and all.
If the stool was red this was allegedly evidence
of
insufficient cancer inducing stomach hydrochloric
acid.
I would like to have some comments.
