I used flaxoil from a bottle. I also took Carlson's fish oil in capsules. I
doubt that the oils were significant to the cancer. While I eat well as
compared to most people I meet, I'm far from saintly. I have struggled with getting
ALL the bad chemicals out of my life. I am so good and then I do something
bad, like paint my toenails or eat something that was wrapped in saran wrap or
something with artificial color in it or sugar. Avoiding poison is impossible.
That is the point of going with the Budwig theory and being oxygenated, the way
I see it. We can't really just avoid carcinogens and call it done. Our
lives (at least my life) are(/is) saturated with carcinogens.
Xeno-estrogens are chemical compounds that bind like estrogen. Petroleum
products and byproducts, like plastic, and pesticides, and detergents, and many
additives to cosmetics, etc., are xeno-estrogenic. I wish we could just ban
them, but people wouldn't give up their petroleum products. Plus, even if we ban
something, like DDT or Lindane, that clearly causes breast cancer, then we still
produce it and sell it to other countries and then eat it on imported grapes,
etc. . .
Phyto-estrogens are plant substances that bind like estrogen, soy and many
other beans, herbs, nuts and seeds including flaxseeds contain
phyto-estrogens. Some people say they are great for breast and other hormonal cancers,
even preventative. Others say they are dangerous. Some say they are good in
post but not pre-[menopausal patients. OThers just say if you are ER positive
avoid ALL estrogens (and then hand you tamoxifen, a xeno-estrogen in my book). I
just don't know what to make of it. My diet was heavy in phyto-estrogens
before this all happened. I still go heavy on beans, seeds and nuts, but not soy.
I was exposed to pesticides and to urethane (a xeno-estrogen used to coat
floors) while I was nursing my son. And I got no sleep. Sleep matters. If you
want to be healthy, you gots to sleep

When you took flaxoil during pregnancy did you take it in capsules
or freshly made flaxoil from a bottle?
And what do you mean by xenoestrogens? I thought they are banned?
