welcome to the group.

The Budwig Diet calls for the fo/cc mixture AND freshly ground flaxseeds. Not one or the other. You will find that explained in our files. Please go to our Yahoo site
and click on "Files" on the left and then go to "Budwig Diet". You will also find an indication of the amounts in the same file.

I have seen reports of people beating cancer with as little as 2 tblsp of FO a day mixed with the required quantity of CC. That is low and it obviously would not be as effective as the higher levels given in the file. I believe someone with cancer should go with at least the 3 tblsp FO in Dr.Budwig's Muesli. In serious cases 6 tblsp FO are often used. I have even heard of more.

For prevention we use the formula of 1 tbsp FO for each 100 lb of body weight - always in a fo/cc mixture.

Your question "Is there a danger of eating too much" is interesting. Eating too much of any food is not good. What is "too much" and what is the right amount depends on the individual and on the individual's condition IMO. If a person's health condition improves on a certain amount, then that amount seems to be right - at least for a while, after which it may need to be adjusted. The levels of FO given in our files are based on what Dr.Budwig had her patients take. She obviously found them to be right and beneficial. They have also been used by many others with good success.

Honey and fruit do not have a negative impact on the fo/cc mixture so long as the fo/cc is mixed first. Honey can be mixed with it right away but fruit, nuts, flavourings and other non-dairy foods should be added after.

First, I have seen two versions of the FO and CC mixture - one
implies you use FO AND freshly ground up flax seed. The other makes
it sound like it is one or the other, but not both. Which is correct.

Second, I always see "eat some of this daily". But, what does that
mean? How much is some? What is the minimum amount that will still
have an impact? Is there a danger of eating too much?

Finally, will mixing things like honedy and fruit have any negative
impact on the mixture?
