I am a member for the Concord Civil Air Patrol squadron.? We have a gas powered tug in our hangar.? I have used it a few times over the past 10 years to move our 182 in/out of the hangar.? It needs a little TLC (probably a tune-up and a new tire or tube), but it has run fairly recently. Anyone who is even a little bit handy will be able to get it running like a champ. ? Anyway, we find it to be more work to take it out, start it, and hook it up than it is to just move the airplane by hand as we usually have an aircrew that can work together to quickly move the aircraft.? With that said, I¡¯m sure there are pilots that can put it to good use.? Can you (or do you know someone) who can make use of the tug?? It is free to a good home. Thanks, Eric |
