This Saturday at 9:00 am, there will be a wash and wax party on the East ramp at Buchanan Field. Specifically we will be cleaning up and polishing a Grumman AA1A that has been donated to the Chapter I should say that the donor-Andre- has committed to donating the plane and Scott Achilles is spearheading the acquisition of the Aircraft. Once the documentation has been completed, Scott will be the project manager in regards to the sale of the aircraft. Scott has already met with Andre acquired the logbooks, performed a cursory “civilian” inspection of the aircraft and started it up.

This is an other opportunity for like minded aviation folk to get together, have coffee and and donuts which will be supplied and swap stories while cleaning up the aircraft.
