John, Don't waste you time trying to get the password. This is Amazon's fault. You have 2 options 1. Request a complete refund 2. Request a replacement new radio without a password at their expense.

That uses an older Prolific driver that doesn't check for a fake Prolific chip or an older one that they no longer support. It works, so no reason to buy a different cable. Donald KX8K
