I had previously looked at a Win 10 laptop and saw;

I asked the vendor I ended up using, which SAID it was Win 11 etc. and if there was not a way to avoid returning the Win 10 they erroneously sent. I was offered $30 and accepted.?

Now I see $99 and $159 and wonder if I stumbled onto a shyster. They do promise a key. They did return my $17, no questions asked.

A small aside; I ordered an external player to install some older software. I'm old school and like hard copies. That said, I have been out of the game and have forgotten entirely too much. I FEEL like I went from Win 3.1 through the gambit to Win 2000 in 5 years!
