I'd search for these words:

rebuild battery pack

and see what results come in. Maybe add the make and model to the search.

You may need to rebuild the pack yourself or send it out to have it rebuilt for
you. I don't know offhand a particular place but you can ask in the
amateur-repairs group since this sort of thing has come up in the past.

KK4IXE, I have been using voice for over a decade. Recently found an interest in using APRS and hope to use it over my Baeofeng coupled to my iPhone. I intend to receive weather and emergency updates and communicate over SMS to my wife while doing fieldwork in wooded areas. Can anyone offer guidance here??

That's a good price for an entry-level HT radio.

I have one and like it. It's not built as well as my Anytone HT, and doesn't
have as much power output, but you can't beat the price.

Would anyone have any experience with this HT using it on DMR Repeaters?

A friend picked one up and was asking me if could be programmed to work on DMR Repeaters.
I can't find much on this HT.? I could use a sample Codeplug configured for any Repeater.
That would tell me what I need to know to help program the local Repeaters .
