I bought a Baofeng DM-1701 on Aliexpress.

It probably was a mistake because the manual tells me to go to menu settings that don't exist.?

The last try was to do a Factory Reset, this is what I found:

To perform a FULL Reset

1.Turn on the radio and press the MENU button.

2.Press the UP and DOWN arrow key to select RESET

(Menu Item 40).

3.Press MENU to choose RESET.
?
4.Press the DOWN arrow key to choose ALL.

5.Press MENU. The radio will display SOURCE?

6.Press MENU to confirm. The radio will displav WAIT...

for a few

seconds, then beep twice to confirm reset is complete. 7.The radio will revert to Chinese language mode. Reset is complete.

To set lanquage from Chinese to English

2.Press the UP and DOWN arrow key to select VOICE

3.Press MENU to choose VOICE.

There's no Menu Item 40.

Something is terribly wrong.?

Also I bought a Baofeng DM-1701 that included a USB cable but the cable wasn't packed with my order.

I read that this radio is completely different than an analog radio, I am up for that challenge, but when the instruction manual tells me how to do something and the menu isn't what I see, I know I have a problem.?
