Hi Tony;
Thanks for the feedback!
So I initially did what you say, download the new radio image file, copy my existing frequency list CSV file into the radio image file and save with a new name. ?Didn¡¯t work.
Obviously I¡¯m doing something wrong (operator error) and will try again tomorrow! (Work day today).
Thanks again!

Instead the new UV9R Pro in CHIRPNext requires save the Downloaded new Radio program as an IMAGE file (dot img).? ?So I did that in CHIRPNext.? ?Now I have my old long frequency list as a CSV file and am unable to just upload it like I used to for
previous radios UV5Rx3, BFF*.? ?Am I doing something wrong?? ?How do I get a list of frequencies in CSV in CHIRPNext into a Image file that the new UV9R Pro accepts to upload?
Quite easy ... open 2 tabs in chirp-next. In one tab, load the image file, in the 2nd tab, open the csv file. Then select everything in the csv file tab and paste it into the image tab, then upload the new image tab to the radio.
Be sure to save the amended image to a local file so that you can modify it and upload later.
The beauty of chirp is of course its price, and the vast variety of radios supported. It's worth making a donation to them.
