I've found that it you export the email addresses from the existing RootsWeb admin console, you can do a mass invite from the Admin -> Invite in the Groups.io control for this group.? That should help people to get connected to the new mailing list if they would like to.

I've contacted the previous RootsWeb moderators (Carla and Dieter) and they are having trouble getting access to the mail list administrators pages.

On my other RW mail lists I was able to download the active list of members and email addresses.
