Volume Buttons
Dr. MC Black
开云体育Ladies & Gentlemen I have noticed that when make or receive a call, the volume level, controlled by the + and - buttons on the left side is? always at the mid point. I then have to increase the volume so I can hear the other person. But the next time, the volume has reverted to the mid point of the range. I need the volume on maximum all the time. Is? there any way of setting it so
the volume remains on maximum? Is? Apple trying to protect my hearing? -- It's too late!! With seasonal greetings and my very
best wishes for a Happy, Healthy, Peaceful, Successful,
Prosperous, Covid- and Stress-free New Year. MC

开云体育Go to Settings>Sounds & Haptics and make sure that the volume slider is turned all the way up. ?You might also check the phone speaker to make sure it’s free of dirt, debris and any other obstruction. ?Good luck!Pat Sent from iPad ProOn Dec 17, 2023, at 12:55?PM, Dr. MC Black <mcb@...> wrote:

I use an iPhone 6sAre you listening to the speakers, or is it sending a signal directly to your hearing aids? The iPhone has a switchable sound-limiting setting that applies to “headphones” – which I suspect may include hearing aids as well as earbuds, airpods, and actual headphones. 开云体育Thank you for taking the time to respond. I am using the Bluetooth connection
to my Hearing Aids when it works, but otherwise the (not very
loud)-speaker I have found "Headphone safety" in
SETTINGS>SOUNDS, but I can see what I have to do to tell it
to stop messing me about and leave the volume on maximum where I
set it. With seasonal greetings and my very
best wishes for a Happy, Healthy, Peaceful, Successful,
Prosperous, Covid- and Stress-free New Year. MC Black

开云体育Thank you for taking the time to
respond. I have been to the Apple shop today
(about another problem) and a young man told me that there's no
way to ensure that the volume is? always at maximum Apparently, it's NOT a bug, it's a feature! Very many thanks MC
