Transfer photos from iPhone to MacBook

I have thousands of photos loaded onto my iPhone by a Mac. Now I wish to transfer these from my iPhone to another Mac Computer that I have. Is there an ap which I can download to the Mac or the iPhone which will help me to accomplish this task?

Many thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

All the tools needed are in the Mac. Attach the phone, open photos, select what you wish to export, and click export.

I take your "loaded onto my iPhone by a Mac” as indicating that photos on your Mac computer and your iPhone are synced and therefore your photos are in your iCloud account.

If you get a new iPhone?during the setup you will be asked to log into your iCloud account and once you do so, your photos will be moved to your new iPhone.

If you get a new Mac computer the advice you will get is to be sure you have a Time Machine backup and as you step through setting up that new computer?you will connect it to your Time Machine backup and use Migration Assistant to move the photos to your new Mac computer.

I have a folder on my Mac called "_for_iPhone", which contains several subfolders each with anywhere from 4 to 100 images.

I originally used iTunes sync to put them on my iPhone several iPhones, and many years, ago; ?now the transfer happens within the Finder sync when I hard-wire connect the 2 devices.?

If I want to copy these images, or a subset of them, to another computer, I wouldn't use the iPhone, but would use a USB thumb drive and walk it across to the other computer.?

Thanks Vincent. But this only allows import from the “recents” folder on the iPhone. The other photos do not appear at all on the Mac.

I found a simple solution. If there are say 150 photos in album all one needs to do is press SELECT ALL and then AIRDROP to the computer!

Thanks everyone for their assistance.

No but I found an easier way by using AIRDROP.
