Re: iPhone 16
Well, that was fortuitous. One of ¡°my¡± seniors just bought an iPhone 16 and I was able to save that .pdf you created and shared it with her. Many thanks, Bob

Re: iPhone 16
BJ, yes, it is annoying that there isn¡¯t a full blown PDF file from the manufacturer, that you can download the moment it is releases, BUT the info is available. Just not in the format you want. But

Re: iPhone 16
I tried that - I do not see any iPhone 16 user guide - just several iPhone user guides for earlier iOS versions and one (non-Apple) iOS18 handbook. Oh, there is an iPhone manual - non-Apple, for $5,

Re: iPhone 16
I do not find a downloadable iOS 18 guide, but there is a hyperlinked online one at <https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/welcome/18.0/ios/18.0> -- Jim Saklad jimdoc@... ?

Re: iPhone 16
Thanks for the PDF link on the manual -- which doesn't seem to have info on things like what-(physical) buttons-do-what, it's really just an iOS18 guide, which I was already getting acquainted with on

Re: iPhone 16
I tried that, but couldn¡¯t find one for iOS 18. The latest version I could find in Books was for iOS 16.5. Would you please provide the link to the one for iOS 18?

Re: iPhone 16
There most certainly is. Open the Books.app on any Apple device; in the Search field put [iPhone 16 User Guide]; when it shows up in the results, tap [Get]. There you go. It¡¯s now in the Books.app

Is there a downloadable user guide? Did I miss something somewhere? Something (maybe w/ pix/diagram) to remind me of what each button does & what settings to do for what & so on. I'm migrating from a

Re: Incoming call settings
On a Mac, while in Contact in edit, you uncheck company and it will show the listing by the person¡¯s name. I don¡¯t know if this is possible in your iCloud account, and I believe not on an iPhone.

Re: Auto-lock on iphone 11
Basically, that was an issue I was questioning. I ran into that on an earlier OS pair. IIRC, the OP has not reach 10.15. And yes Otto and Jim S, I was confusing memory and storage. I¡¯m a bit busy

Re: Auto-lock on iphone 11
Either way, the point is the iPhones have a very limited amount of memory, that is not upgradeable. Brent

Re: Auto-lock on iphone 11
Brent, if you're asking when iOS and macOS no longer work together, I can tell you that my iPhone 14 Pro Max on 18.1.1 and 2012 MB Pro on 10.15.7 still connect for backups and sync. Otto
