Yes, Apple is a business, not a philanthropic organization. When they do major upgrades, they sometimes changes settings, prefs and defaults to ¡°showcase¡± the new eye candy. That is why I suggest reviewing all the settings, prefs and defaults after a whole number upgrade. The new eye candy in the software, drives the desire to upgrade hardware. More money!!!!!
