Folks,

I know this note is coming out on election day, and though late, it is not because I was undecided.? But while standing in line at the poll this morning, I had a moment to reflect on the years we have been living on the hill and I must say that since 1998 when we moved onto the Hill, I have never seen a more active ANC rep than Brian.? He is on top of neighborhood issues and works tirelessly to address them.? My personal interaction with Brian concerned a perennial theft from auto thief.? After our car window was smashed out the second time and my neighbors a third, I sent Brian an e-mail asking for advice on what to do.? The police said they knew exactly who was doing it and that they would bring the person in only to have him freed up a short time later.? Brian worked with the police and prosecutors office and spearheaded a Community Impact Statement campaign that helped hand the perpetrator the maximum sentence.? He also kicked off a series of late night neighborhood walks.

Brian has done many great things over the last two years and I support him for another term.
