After seeing several youth casing 11th street several times on bikes late at night, and confirming sightings with several neighbors, I called the 1st district police station to request special attention. Sergeant McGonnagal confirmed that they were aware of these kids on bikes casing different areas of our neighborhood, suspect them of crimes, but were not aware that they had been routinely cruising 11th St. SE. He asked that if I see them again to call 911 immediately with the location to help them catch these guys; they have been aware of and trying to catch them for awhile apparently. They are taking it seriously enough that all sergeants in the 106 and 107 are being made aware that these youths' regular "route" includes our street. Please, if you see them, call 911.?
