Attached are our two flyers, one for the event and one for the raffle. ?Please consider sharing them with your friends and neighbors and posting them in your businesses, we are hoping to have a huge outpouring from the community. ?

Brent is one of the co-sponsors of this event, Capitol Hill Day is taking a table. St. Peter's is sending out flyers and the Cluster schools are getting involved in publicity too. ?This is the first of an annual Ward 6-wide event (in other years there will be other beneficiaries of the fundraising including our kids and schools!!).??If you can volunteer at this event please email Chuck Burger at cburger@.... ?If you have a business and would like to take a table ($150 each) please contact Dee Dee Brenand at dbrenand@....

This year's event will be pretty great, I have to say. ?(SUNDAY, 10/21 from 11-4 at Brent and the surrounding parks). ?DCFD will be there with trucks and that big inflatable slide. ?Brent is getting 2 moonbounces, a dj, and an inflatable obstacle course. ?The legion is hosting a wine-and-beer garden opening at 11:00 and Chef Bonk from Sonoma is bringing a couple grills and smokers and doing pulled pork, burgers and dogs, and a generous adult plate of fresh seasonal food. ?

There will be bands there all day. ?Boogie Babes is coming for the younger crew. ?There will be a bike valet (no need to park!), biking events, and all of Providence Park will be a big Olympics event for kids (think field day). ?Children's National Medical is going to be there doing free car seat inspections. ?Brent has sponsored child ID kits and MPD will be there.???It's going to be a packed day and tons of fun for all ages.

* Amazing raffle items including: IPAD2, Wine Tasting Party for 10 at Pound, Acua Al 2 $200 Gift Card, Case of Wine from Schneiders, $100 at Cava, Folger Theater tickets and the list goes on!!!

* Food catered by Sonoma and a beer and wine garden

* Tables of safety information for the top agencies, organizations and businesses in the area.

ALL proceeds go to benefit the Maslin Family but most importantly, we want to show Abby that the community is HERE to support her by our sheer numbers.
