 Looking for something fun to do this weekend? ?Grab the whole family and check out the ?Green Festival this weekend, at the Convention Center in Washington, DC Saturday and Sunday September 29 & 30. ?Show this email -- Sierra Club members get in free! The festival includes presentations given by more than 125 leaders, authors and thinkers who are active in the green movement. Speakers this year include Amy Goodman, Ralph Nader, Benjamin Todd Jealous and many more. Sierra Club is excited to partner with the Green Festival on a new feature ¨C Sierra Club Presents: Green Cinema video screenings of eco-shorts and trailers. From educational DIY how-to workshops, book signings, green job hunting, to activities for children and delicious organic food, beer
and wine, the DC Green Festival will truly offer something for everyone to enjoy. Entertainment is a vital component of the festivities, including live music and dance. ?Visit the Green Kids' Zone, the Green Pet Zone, or the Eco Fashion Showcase. ?Get involved at the Community Action Stage. ?There will also be a marketplace offering goods for sale from hundreds of local and national eco-conscious businesses and organizations and you can also test drive a hybrid or electric vehicle.
