We wanted to send out an email during our break week between the fall and winter seasons to drum up more interest in our Winter CSA! Firstly, thank you to everyone who has signed up so far! We have 3 high tunnels full of gorgeous greens and herbs, we can't wait to start sharing them with you next week.?
The Winter CSA is crucial to the sustainability of our workforce. Farming during the winter is not a sure thing on many farms, and farmworkers are often left without a few months pay between the end of fall and beginning of spring. In order to keep being able to pay our wonderful team, we have the Winter CSA! And in order to fully make this work, we need at least 100 members! Supporting small businesses is crucial to the success of communities everywhere, and small farms aren't exempt from that mission! Gift your friend, neighbor, parents, or yourself a share of local vegetables this winter!
Imagine fresh salads and hearty greens all winter long. Crunchy carrots and crisp radishes. Hearty potatoes and squashes. All this can be yours by joining our Winter CSA, starting next week! We take a two week break over the weeks of Christmas and New Years since we know lots of people travel and we want to make this CSA as simple as possible to enjoy!?
We have only 25 shares left to go to reach 100! If you haven't yet snagged your share, sign up today! Share the word with your neighbors and friends and encourage them to shop local when it comes to their food. As during the main season, we can do payment by installments, so no need to worry about paying the full amount up front.?
