A quick reminder that there is a 6B05 community walk today in our neighborhood at
6PM. MPD First District Officer Muhammad Lewis, Councilmember Allen's Office, and myself will start the walk at
8th and Independence Ave SE, and we will be?walking the areas in our neighborhood recently impacted by crime.
?
All are welcome on this walk. It provides a one-on-one chance to talk with MPD about crime directly in the area we are seeing it and get to know the officers who patrol our neighborhood blocks. It should last no longer than 45 minutes to an hour, and you can walk for as much or little as you like.?
