FYI for those interested in pending Eastern Market legislation. ?CM Wells is hosting a public meeting tomorrow evening from 6 to 8PM in the North Hall to discuss the bill. ?ANC6B will be hosting or co-hosting a listening session in the next two to three weeks. ?I'll let you know when it's scheduled.

The bill was referred to the Committee of the Whole, rather than the Committee on Government Operations as we had earlier discussed. The reason the Chair gave was that the COW has oversight of the Department of General Services (which is absorbing the Department of Real Estate Services; which manages Eastern Market currently). ?
