Passed through Pickering - as ever to go somewhere else, to be honest - on the way to Whitby and back over the weekend, and aside from the usual thin pickings in Whitby, I have a query.
I passed an NYCC low-floor minibus out on the 170 Pickering Town Service, but I'm stuffed if I can remember what it was. I have a hunch that it might have been a Bluebird Tucana bodied VW, but I can't confirm for sure. Can anyone help?
(Whitby is not great for buses anymore - a handful of Solos on the 95, 2870/71 are now two of them; the P&R ended for the season on Sunday, with Gemini 2DLs 7609/10 doing good business until the last day; and Coastliner and Arriva provide their smart 'deckers on the 840 and X93 respectively. Only s-d I saw from Arriva on the X4 was Temsa 4720, a route?that has long been solidly Streetlite - has this changed?)
