You've got a great fit there, did you have to design the pattern from
scratch?

I get the difficulty connecting with patients when togged up like that. My
parents would be really alarmed by such an outfit (but we're all going to
have to get used to it). I suppose making the cap in something bright and
non-threatening or silly (orange chrysanthemums, purple cats, you get the
idea) would both look less scary and provide a talking point.

I'm noticing that the fabric I make masks in affects how far people
perceive they might be effective (which is interesting, apparently the
colour chosen for capsules in the pharmaceutical industry can affect their
perceived effectiveness and the Far East prefers different colours and
combinations to Europe). So if I make a mask in a ditsy floral people see it
as just a little piece of fabric, but the exact same size in a bold hospital
blue is seen as likely to prove effective against coronavirus......I had not
taken that into consideration initially.
